Hands can often age faster than a woman's face, giving a stronger impression of age that any other part of the body. Hands should be given special attention to keep them in good shape.
The first thing you should pay attention to is keeping your hands protected. During the course of a day, hands come in to contact with a lot of different substances.
Housework such as cleaning and washing dishes can bring your skin in to contact with harsh chemicals and lots of water. Both these can damage the skin on the hands, drying them out. The nils are affected also as, when wet, they will swell slightly then shrink as they dry out leaving them brittle. Keep hands protected when cleaning by always wearing rubber gloves.
You hands need a lot of moisture to keep from drying out and looking old before they time. Be sure to regularly use a good moisturiser to take care of them.
When applying moisturiser, it is a good idea to give your hand a massage. Rub the moisturiser in in circular motions. This not only helps the cream to seep further in to the skin but will also improve the blood circulation of the hands.
